Kleresca Logo

Kleresca® is a breakthrough BioPhotonic treatment that significantly and comfortably improves acne, with a demonstrated safety profile.

Skinplus Dermatology is proud to be the exclusive Kleresca in South Australia to offer this exciting new treatment, which has only been released in Australia since April 2016.

What is BioPhotonics?

Kleresca® harnesses the power of BioPhotonics to safely treat your acne and stimulate the tissue’s own repair systems. The treatment uses a high intensity in-clinic multi-wavelength LED lamp together with a photoconverter gel to kill bacteria in the skin and stimulate skin healing. It is a good option for patients who do not wish to follow prescription options.

Who is it for?

is an efficient treatment for moderate severe acne. Nine out of 10 people saw an improvement to their skin*, whereas every third person achieved clear or almost clear skin. Ring or email to book an appt into our Acne clinic.

How is the treatment performed?

Unlike many treatment options, Kleresca only requires 2 treatments a week for 6 weeks resulting in a total of 12 treatments.

A healthcare professional will cleanse your skin and apply the Kleresca® gel to your face. The gel is then photo-activated using a multi-wavelength LED lamp.

You may feel a warm sensation on your skin, and most people find the treatment pleasant and comfortable. After 9 minutes under the light, the gel is removed. Your complexion may experience temporary redness after the treatment.
